Application Instructions

1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure the plastic, carbon fiber, or other substrate is completely smooth, clean, and properly prepared.

2. Apply the FREE High-Gloss Basecoat: The surface must have a flawless, mirror-like glossy finish.

3. Allow 4 Full Days to Cure: The basecoat must cure for at least 4 days before applying Chrome FX. A hair dryer or heat gun on a low setting may help with drying, but does not replace the required curing time.

4. Apply Easy Chrome FX: Spray very light dust coats. Never apply heavy or wet coats. Wait approximately 10–15 minutes between coats.

5. Allow Chrome to Harden: Let the chrome finish harden for 3 days before regular handling.

Important Information

• The smoother and glossier the basecoat, the better the final chrome reflection.

• Do not apply Chrome FX over an uncured basecoat.

• Do not use 2K clear coat over Chrome FX.

• If additional protection is needed, use only a compatible 1K clear coat. Clear coating may reduce reflectivity by approximately 10%.

• Plastic and carbon fiber surfaces must be properly prepared for coating adhesion.
